AI & AUTOMATION
Level 1 Helpdesk Agent
AI-assisted support workflows for BM365 and other ticketing systems with API integration capabilities—supporting ticket creation and updates, structured escalations and human handoff.
Project details
Built with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate, with BM365 as an implemented example. Workflows can be adapted to other ticketing systems with suitable APIs. Available features depend on each system’s API, authentication and permissions. The focus is dependable ticket actions, clear escalation paths and human handoffs.
READINESS & SECURITY
AI Readiness Assessments
Cloud and domain assessment scripts that examine identity, endpoint protection, sharing exposure and the foundations for AI adoption.
Project details
Findings include remediation guidance, distinguish missing evidence from verified controls, and evaluate MFA and Conditional Access enforcement across Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments.
INFRASTRUCTURE / PLANNING
Windows Server 2016 migration
Planning the migration of approximately 45 Windows Server 2016 servers to Windows Server 2022 or 2025.
Project status
The statement of work is in preparation. The migration is planned; the target versions are Windows Server 2022 or 2025.
CLOUD MIGRATION / COMPLETED
Hyper-V infrastructure to Azure
Completed the migration of approximately 150 servers from a Hyper-V environment with 13 Windows Server 2016/2019 hosts and failover clustering to Microsoft Azure.
Project status
The infrastructure migration is completed. The statement of work is in preparation.

I’m Dan Burrows, an IT specialist based in San Antonio, Texas. My background in computer science and practical problem-solving helps me turn complex technology challenges into useful solutions for businesses and individuals.
My work spans systems, networks, security and technical support. I enjoy learning how new tools can improve the way people work—and bringing that same practical mindset to AI consulting, automation and training.
Music is another important part of my life. I find creative inspiration in composing and producing original music, whether I’m performing, developing ideas in the studio or collaborating with fellow musicians.
Web development brings my technical and creative interests together. I build websites with a focus on clear design, usability and the needs of the people using them.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring hiking trails, reading a good book and making music. Learning and taking on new challenges connect all these parts of my life.
