I have been in the IT field for 20+ years. I have experience in many facets of the IT realm including, databases, networks, operations, systems, and tech support.

My first IT position was supporting a Check/Credit Card Processing Application and serves as a Customer Services Technical Support Specialist. I also manage the operations of all EOD processes while supporting systems and network with a Data Center that has more than 40 active servers and 100 node IGRP/EGRP routed network environment and includes the collation/back up facility which he helped design, configure, install, and implement.

In the process of this, I have been able to get hands on experience on upgrading and migrating systems and networks. ClearTran was a Windows 2000 environment, which I upgraded systems, and the datacenter is now a Windows 2003 environment. I also assisted in upgrading SQL 2000 to SQL 2005 and have gained interest in the database side of the IT realm and am in process of obtaining certification for SQL 2005. More on this to come…

Next, I supported a 3rd Generation Voice Recognition Application and served as a Support Engineer in the Operations department. I have also recently started WEB Development for both private and commercial site development and this site is a prime example of my efforts..

Today, I am working for an MSP, as a Sr Technician, and am responsible for managing client onsite infrastructures and our Hyper-V environment (Windows servers 2012 R2-2022). I also assist with installing and monitoring of our Managed Detection and Response systems (Arctic Wolf/DarkTrace/Mantix4). More on this to come…..
